I believe the other upgrade done a few weeks back was terrible based on what I read at lossless legs. (apparently, it was anything but an upgrade!) Stick with the Miller. You really cant go wrong.

All I can say is that it sounded pretty good to me last month! I can't find that earlier version on Lossless Legs and I'd quite like to read the comments - do you have a link by any chance?

There were several 'upgrades' at LL recently (including this show) which were called 'dubious', and heavily criticised. So the chances are this is the best so far, but I'll read more of the comments later before I download.

It's all too complicated for a bear of small brain like myself, so I copped out and dl'd 12-12-73 which I know is better than the cassete I have.

I found the LL comments and they were pretty dismissive in a supercilious kind of way - I think one of the problems was that the 'upgrader' remained anonymous. Oh well, I guess what it boils down to is, if you listen and you like, what have you lost? I'm not going to feel a fool because I unwittingly enjoyed a show that was a running 1% fast (or whatever). But maybe I'll have to spot check that Miller...
